WWII

[edit]

The paragraph about Mannheim during WWII says the city was abandoned by the Germans and that the Americans entered the city unopposed, but the picture right next to it purports to show American troops involved in street fighting in Mannheim. So which is true? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.147.174.153 (talk) 21:22, 3 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lack of city grid content

[edit]

Despite the title Quadratestadt redirecting to this article, it contains none of the information in the detailed article de:Quadratestadt.  — Scott talk 10:45, 23 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Size / Size ranking

[edit]

Karlsruhe is also described as the second largest city in Baden-Würtemberg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karlsruhe

"the second bridge"

[edit]

False information is (indirectly) provided in the fragment "In 1975, the Bundesgartenschau (Federal horticulture show) was celebrated in Luisen and Herzogenried parks. A number of pieces of infrastructure were developed for the show: the telecommunications tower and a second bridge across the Rhine were built", because the link is to the Konrad Adenauer Bridge (check its article for its history, it precedes 1975 by far), rather than the Kurt Schumacher Bridge (built in 1972, so, arguably, for the BUGA). Gonna modify that fragment and provide a link to de:wiki, if I still remember how. Bansp (talk) 20:52, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Numbering schema of the city grid incorrect formatted

[edit]

In the description of the numbering schema of the city grid is the space between the letter and the number missing.

For Example the majors office is located in E 5 not E5.
