Nielsen in Columbo

[edit]

Mr. Leslie Nielsen has played Peter Hamilton in "Lady in Waiting" in Columbo, that's missing from his TV filmography. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.128.48.46 (talk) 23:10, 3 February 2014 (UTC) Oh, and please, was he wearing a wig? Just curious... I mean, look at his hair.. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.128.48.46 (talk) 23:13, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Back to the Future special in 1989

[edit]

I see the TV table also cite some host appearances. Nielsen hosted a night dedicated to Back To The Future in 1989, here on NBC. Shouldn't it be added?--Alexmar983 (talk) 00:01, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

American citizenship?

[edit]

Just noticed his nationality in the lead has been changed from Canadian to Canadian-American. Did he only become an American citizen nine years after he died, then? Scf1985 (talk) 21:42, 5 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

 Fixed restored as per sources there.--Moxy 🍁 22:01, 5 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Airplane!

[edit]

Filmography says "Airplane! First comedy role". No, it wasn't. 86.41.149.167 (talk) 10:17, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wife Candi?

[edit]

I am watching an old game show Tattles Tales and Leslie is on it with a girl name Candi and has been refered to as his wife? However, she's not on the list of marriages. Were they not married? Thank you. 24.189.220.166 (talk) 17:19, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This 2006 addition has many uncited paragraphs and some unreliable sources. Spinixster (chat!) 02:12, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Spinixster, you used almost this exact same rationale for opening a GAR of Max Weinberg today. It would be helpful if you elaborated on which sources you feel are unsuitable for these articles, rather than expecting others to dig them up in what are fairly long reference lists. ♠PMC(talk) 00:27, 24 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, source 76 is one, though I'm sure it's an upload of an official clip. Others are more questionable, like The Biography Channel, Tribute.ca, and more. Either way, there are many uncited paragraphs. Spinixster (chat!) 10:56, 24 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Are we avoiding the Canadian-American date format on purpose?

[edit]

If not, I think it should go Month-Day-Year around here. If so, that's cool. Just a bit unusual. InedibleHulk (talk) 05:42, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
