Jimbo's words

[edit]

Honestly, I made this page because I don't know the etiquette on these things. They been on my user page for months, am I allowed to delete them, would that be rude? Should I keep them, is that poor taste as well?

Anyhow, I moved them here.  :-)

You can't delete them :- they're gifts! You can move them around to your personal taste... here's a minorlee * as well... thankyou for good use of your existence  :) LeeVJ (talk) 01:41, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstars

[edit]
  • Removed the section of barnstars as it was four years out of date compared to the current version and nobody used it to preformat before posting in their barnstar, unless somebody believes it should be kept for any reason? _____ etc.(I can't think of a reason to go in the space)

Im suprised

[edit]

Im suprised that jimbo dosent have that many barnstars —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.210.250.228 (talkcontribs)

A spelling mistake??!

[edit]

On the heading it says, "...and Grand Imperial Poobah." The first "h" in "Poohbah" was added by none other than myself because it was missing, but then I deleted it again because though the original name of the character was "Pooh-Bah", it appears "Poobah" is the favoured form. --Paidgenius (talk) 13:50, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Template

[edit]

I have recently decided to organise all of the barnstars, in and out of the list, into their chronologically correct position on the list which had started to lapse in correct use. After moving several items into their correct position I decided to leave an invisible message that will be the first thing seen by people when they go to edit the page, should I move this to the bottom below the end of the barnstar list or even to both positions? Another question I have, is it appropriate to use

The mentioned template (not an actual template code, just a guideline to adhere to) is between here.

And here. It can be seen through the edit view, I decided that pasting it to be viewable in wasn't representative of how it should be read.

Dislike that you are giving my donations to pay editors

[edit]

I payed a 300 dollar donation to Wikipedia in order to better the website, and then you tell everyone that you are paying your staff with donations? I am not paying you donations to give to other people, I am paying it to you so you can make wikipedia better. Not by paying editors. I payed you to make this a better website, not so your greedy little friends could make a profit off freelance editing, they should want to contribute for free, not for money. I would like a refund. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.34.129.168 (talk) 05:03, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
