I have added a link to my review of Harman's biography of Darlington. Evidently DonSiano has been removing this link. He claims "style" as the reason, but when pressed has offered no substantiation. His ground has shifted from "unencyclopedic review" (ie. the review itself is not encyclopedic?), to "the link is not WikiPedia style" (ie. the problem is the placing of the hyperlink, not what it points at), and finally to "it is a vanity link" (huh?). The link is relevant and, I believe, of value. If you believe otherwise, please feel free to comment here. Gavantredoux 22:43, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted the additions of user:143.239.7.1, since they included (of all things) a cut and paste copyvio directly from Britannica --nixie 14:11, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Oh yes, can you make sense of the mess? Dunc| 14:13, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:CD Darlington.jpg

[edit]

Image:CD Darlington.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:45, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Eugenics

[edit]

Such as Conrad Hal Waddington , Lancelot Hogben and J. B. S. Haldane, he was among the signatores and supporters of the eugenics manifesto in 1939. Facts are facts and that's all.Agre22 (talk) 13:03, 12 January 2010 (UTC)agre22[reply]
