Wondering how to edit this U.S. City Entry?

Untitled

[edit]

The WikiProject U.S. Cities standards might help.

Well, for starters, knowing which indigeneous people it is that's 90% of the population would help I was going to add a cat maybe for Yupik or Aleut or whomever it is here, but there's no clue on the page. If this is a majority indigenous settlement, something on their culture and government and social conditions would probably be a worthy addition/edition.Skookum1 (talk) 03:17, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
PS I think there should be an Alaska Native subcat of the majority-population one....Skookum1 (talk) 03:17, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Looking through this directory of municipal officials in Alaska from the 1970s for more specific incorporation dates than what later sources seem willing to provide, I came across Chevak's entry, and see multiple entries here which appear to be of people bearing Armenian surnames. Was this a result of long-ago religious influence, mere coincidence, my imagination? Throw me a bone here, if you dare.
