Untitled section 2004

[edit]

I don't think "suburbs" is suitable, because the list includes places like Orchard Road, Tanjong Pagar, Raffles Place, and so forth that are clearly in downtown Singapore. -- ran (talk) 17:59, Sep 24, 2004 (UTC)

Suburb exists, whether there are downtowns or not, hence suburb must be included for certain areas, while the rest could retain their original titles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Slivester (talkcontribs) 23:59, 17 October 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Should we include mention of things like the Central Area and urban planning divisions by the URA, or is that not needed? I'm thinking it would provide a sense of orientation as well as an outlook on the country as a whole, ie. division of functions among towns. -- Natalinasmpf 03:58, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

The current effort to group them by regions looks horrid to say the least. Is it neccesary to embark on this in the first place?--Huaiwei 12:37, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think it gives the template some sort of organization, rather than just piling everything together alphabetically. - SpLoT (*C*+u+g) 13:08, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
