from VfD:

The use of 's as a suffix to prosecution is nonsensical.

  • No, it isn't. For example: The prosecution's case is compelling. However, it is completely inappropriate as an article title, which ought to be prosecution (which currently redirects to criminal law). Anyhow, delete this as a dicdef. transwiki this to Wiktionary as it is a dicdef. [[User:Livajo|力伟|]] 03:11, 7 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: The use of the apostrophe s for a plural suffix is nonsensical. I'm going to make a wild bet that Wiktionary already has a definition for "prosecution" and doesn't need the transwiki, so just delete. ("Warning: Prosecutors Will Be Violated!") Geogre 03:44, 7 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • I made the same guess but decided to go look, and Wiktionary actually does not have a definition for prosecution, which is why I changed my vote. [[User:Livajo|力伟|]] 04:47, 7 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Really? Wow. I am very surprised. BTW, I think User:R. fiend is right: this could/should redirect to Prosecution. Geogre 14:17, 7 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Any reason this can't be a simple redirect to Prosecution? -R. fiend 07:50, 7 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • I think the text of the page would be extremely suitable as part of a Wiktionary entry for "prosecution". rturus 14:55, 7 Dec 2004 (UTC)
