STOP TALKING TO ME!

Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks.

I was testing nothing. What the hell are you talking about? Oh, and please leave your name instead of just adding a template to my page like a coward. Thanks! Dominotree!

You have been blocked for 24 hours for personal attacks and vandalism. Arminius 05:57, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Sorry for calling you a coward, but how exactly is creating a template stating that an article had been through previous VfDs then adding it to a page up for VfD vandalism? Dominotree 06:03, 31 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Rc-band-small.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Chowbok 22:43, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I acted like an idiot five years ago and got blocked for it, but I recently started a new account on WP. I'd been making constructive edits and writing drafts, when an admin I was talking with via IRC banned me after he found out about this account. After some research and asking, I found out that this account needed to be unblocked first before I could do a CLEANSTART - I'd like to get this block removed and mark this account retired, if possible, so I can put all this nonsense behind me and attempt to continue with my new account. Thank you. Dominotree (talk) 19:10, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

The blocking admin seems to have quietly tiptoed out of the community two and a half years ago. So I am foregoing the usual putting the unblock on hold and letting you out myself. Welcome back, hope things go better this time! — Daniel Case (talk) 03:03, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have re-blocked this account per the recent block applied to your new account, as a precaution. If you really wanted a clean start, it's best to edit about something totally unrelated to what you were editing before. Daniel Case (talk) 17:20, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

If you looked at my new account in-depth, you'd see there weren't any unconstructive edits, and my new account was blocked because THIS account was blocked. Dominotree is being blocked because NPrice is blocked, and NPrice was blocked because Dominotree was blocked. This is just getting silly. As is typical, admins are not reviewing the edits on my account, only the subject *of* the edits, and assuming that I'm being unconstructive. In my previous unblock request on NPrice, and in several places, I've stated I'd voluntarily stay away from any "volatile" subject matter just to ease peoples' minds, but it seems I'm in a catch-22 here. I didn't do ANYTHING to warrant being banned on the new account, if someone would only truly look into it. Dominotree (talk) 04:10, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

It is not true that each account is blocked only because the other account is blocked. You have made various unhelpful edits, including harassing at least one other editor. You were given a second chance after you said that you had seen the error of your ways and would not continue in the old way, but you have shown that that is not the case. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:35, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

To the reviewing admin: note that the editor's new (and also blocked) account is NPrice (talk · contribs) Nick-D (talk) 07:51, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
