Quick Intersection down?

[edit]

Hey, I believe that your tool Quick Intersection is currently offline. Is it a bug or did you stop to support it ? Thanks in advance, 🐢 Monsieur Tortue (💬) 16:29, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I thought I had replaced this years ago with PetScan? Could you give me the URL where you found Quick Intersection? Thanks! --Magnus Manske (talk) 12:42, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Here are some search results. I'm not seeing anything public-facing. – Jonesey95 (talk) 17:58, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Jonesey95 @Magnus Manske sorry, I didn't see your messages as no notifications appeared on my account. We're still using your tool on the frwiki. Go to any category ([[fr:Catégorie:Mort]] for exemple) and click on the "Décompte" button. You will be redirected to your tool. Thanks in advance, 🐢 Monsieur Tortue (💬) 11:29, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Looks like flickr2commons.toolforge.org is down. Is that how it was intended? Olksolo (talk) 18:52, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Controversial and non-neutral term

[edit]

Would you replace the phrase "racist stereotypes" in the Lady and the Tramp (1955 film) article with the less controversial and more neutral "racial stereotypes", please? 151.82.55.139 (talk) 14:27, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Mobile design for CAS Search Tool

[edit]

Hello Magnus, let me express my appreciation for the tools you have developed and continue to maintain. I wanted to ask if it would be possible for you to consider making the design of the CAS Search Tool more flexible based on the user’s screen size. Currently, the tool is primarily designed for desktop use, and a more responsive design would greatly enhance usability, especially for those accessing it on mobile devices because currently the letters looks quite small on mobile (example for ukwiki). Thank you! Mike.Khoroshun (talk) 16:39, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, as far as I see, it’s pretty flexible based on the user’s screen size – it just doesn’t advertise this, so mobile browsers, to be on the safe side, treat it as if it wasn’t flexible. (Desktop browsers, on the other hand, don’t stay on the safe side, so if you resize your desktop browser window, you’ll see that it works.) Simply adding a viewport meta tag would mostly fix it. The only thing that doesn’t seem to work in narrow mode is the hamburger menu: if I click on the hamburger icon, nothing happens. —Tacsipacsi (talk) 22:42, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
