The cost is listed as $100 billion dollars (sic). This sounds rather high - perhaps it should be 100 million?

No, the cost to purchase the land and build the highway exceeds $100 billion.

The word “freeway”

Highway 407 should not be described as a “freeway”. it’s one of the most expensive routes in North America. 142.118.224.198 (talk) 15:52, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In Canadian English, "freeway" does not imply that it is toll-free. The 407 meets the Ontario definition of freeway. BLAIXX 17:11, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
