Organizations and notability

Just because an organization exists does not mean it's notable or needs to mentioned on Wikipedia. Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) lists the following as necessary to establish notability:

  1. Contain significant coverage addressing the subject of the article directly and in depth.
  2. Be completely independent of the article subject.
  3. Meet the standard for being a reliable source.
  4. Be a secondary source; primary and tertiary sources do not count towards establishing notability.

Under Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, Wikipedia is not a directory and Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Please read these links before trying to reinsert various organizations to this article. Thanks, Yuchitown (talk) 17:29, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
