Greek transliteration

It's been a good many years since I studied classical Greek, but I question the transliteration of ζῳδιακός, ζῴδιον and ζῷον as, respectively, "zōidiakòs", "zōidion" and "zōion". It seems to me that these should be "zōdiakòs", "zōdion" and "zōon". Why is there an "i" after the transliterated omega in each of these words? CodeTalker (talk) 03:05, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Name

Do we need the 2024 Zodiac Calendar?

I'm not sure what purpose is served by the recent addition of this "Zodiac Calendar". As noted by @Praemonitus:, it is only valid for one year, 2024. Is it going to be useful in future years? Is someone going to update it every year? There's no explanation of how to read it or what the dates around the circumference mean, and the phrase "Zodiac calendar" doesn't even appear elsewhere in the article.
