[edit]

Hello, BarkMe, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! -Wolf530 19:38, Nov 30, 2004 (UTC)

Golden Plates

[edit]

I am thankful you have turned your attention to Golden Plates. It is always easier to proceed with an article properly when the key points of view are represented in the editors. That way we don't have to guess how people of a certain POV will react to any given incarnation. I hope you will add Golden Plates to your Watchlist and stay with us as we work to improve it. Oh, and welcome to the Wikipedia! Tom - Talk 21:10, Nov 30, 2004 (UTC)

Oh, and p.s. Thanks for your other contributions and plans too! We can always use qualified help. Why don't you give us a little point of view disclosure on your user page? Tom - Talk 21:22, Nov 30, 2004 (UTC)

Thanks for starting your user page. When you get time, perhaps you could disclose your personal biases as they might possibly affect your choice of articles to edit. For example:

  • What is your religious background?
  • Do you have a church affiliation?
  • What are your spiritual beliefs?
  • Do you have a political party affiliation?
  • What are your political beliefs?
  • What is your career training, experience, and affiliations?
  • How oldish are you (if you care to mention it)?
  • What is your nationality, ethnicity, etc. if any of these relate to any editing you are doing.

Of course only biases that might help other editors understand you as an editor are really important to mention. Tom - Talk 15:18, Dec 2, 2004 (UTC)
