Translation details

[edit]
  • Article: de:Antequera
  • Corresponding English-language article: Antequera
  • Worth doing because: Gap in EB2004 parity
  • Status: Translated, but review requested by David Brooks 21:34, 26 Mar 2005 (UTC)
  • Other notes: This was a manual loose transcription of an automatic translation. I condensed the article somewhat; see the HTML comments. Then I added a few bits of my own. David Brooks
[edit]

I added a link pointing to "A Spanish Surprise" This travel story covers a city walk with some emphasis on Efebo. Scribbleman 07:43, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please wait for a response on this talkpage when you announce your intentions to include these Terje Raa travel stories. Don’t include them yourself, as including these links are your only contributions here, you seem to have a conflict of interest. Please wait for community input, thanks. --Van helsing 12:37, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
After one month, still no feedback from the Antequera Editors................ so I took the liberty of inserting the link myself. I figure you would be interested in how a traveller presents Antequera - as a complement to your own more factual article. Keep the link if you like. There are no commercial interests behind my initiative. Scribbleman (talk) 17:22, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
External links policy on Advertising and conflicts of interest states You should avoid linking to a website that you own, maintain or represent, and in this case, you are Terje Raa [1] . Unfortunately your conflict of interest editing involves contributing to Wikipedia in order to promote yourself and your articles. Such a conflict is strongly discouraged. Your contributions to wikipedia under Scribbleman consist entirely of promoting Terje Raa / bootsnall.com / travellady.com and is considered WP:Spam. Looking through your contributions as a whole, the all seem to be Terje Raa/bootsnall.com/travellady.com related only. Please do not continue adding links to your own websites to Wikipedia. It has become apparent that your account are only being used for spamming inappropriate external links and for self-promotion. Wikipedia is NOT a "repository of links" or a "vehicle for advertising" and persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted. Any further spamming may result in your account and/or your IP address being blocked from editing Wikipedia. Avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines. You're here to improve Wikipedia -- not just to promote yourself, right? --Hu12 13:28, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unless it was pasted here from somewhere else, this edit established the usage of the page as BCE/CE. Kindly maintain it pending a new consensus to the contrary. — LlywelynII 09:11, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sources for article expansion

[edit]
  • Fernandez, C. (1842), Historia de Antequera, desde su fundación, Malaga. (in Spanish)

may be a useful text but it's currently unused by the article and is just a copy of the EB11's very outdated sourcing. Reïnclude it once it's being used to source various points. — LlywelynII 09:15, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
