Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Counties standards might help.

It really pisses me off that I don't know what a caption or title means -- someone want to tell me what the hell a CDP is? --70.152.128.242 00:26, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You could have googled it or just searched it here at wikipedia. Census-designated place, or in census talk, a "place" (ie: unincorporated). I already fixed that and wikilinked it. I also moved mcleansville from being in two different areas. it is a cdp, not a city, and you can't be both. I reverted earlier edit that was a mistaken undestanding of NC law.Pharmboy 00:49, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notable people section

[edit]

I started this section and listed Joseph Cannon with reference. He was born in Guilford County, Guilford, NC and there is not a Wikipedia page for Guilford NC. Thanks! --Fraulein451 (talk) 22:32, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That's fine. Guilford may have been a former town or CDP in Guilford County. If the town/township doesn't have its own article, it is perfectly fine to place them here. Thank you. -- JoannaSerah (talk) 23:13, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

New Courthouse Image

[edit]

There are two county courthouses in Guilford County, the one in Greensboro, and the one in High Point. I don't know which one should I use. Please tell me which of these two courthouses will fit better for the intro. - Thanks

@Cork12 I think it looks alright with both images in the infobox but if push comes to shove, I think the Greensboro Courthouse is more important as it's the county seat. Thanks again for your great work, have a good day! DiscoA340 (talk) 01:35, 14 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
